what are your game projects?
How are you marketing them?
Who did your art?
How much did it cost you?
How have you generated interest?

non-publishing perspective on game projects
Fri, October 17, 2003 - 1:00 AMOh, I'm not invested in publishing, just in having a system that suits me. I generated a system with the goal of having all the core rules on one sheet of paper, because I was doing RPG as an elective class in a middle school, and wanted a system they could learn quickly. (Yes, I ended up with several pages on supplemental topics - combat and tables, character generation, etc.)
I went intentionally low-resolution; 2d6 roll for resolving almost all actions, and character sheets don't have stats for STR, DEX, INT, etc. - either the abilities are close enough to "normal" to have no modifiers, or the character has a named talent such as Super Strength etc.
I wrote the system around the time that I was helping Hero Games get re-started, and did one of the initial edits on 5th Edition - I like hi-res systems too - but sometimes simple is *enough*.

In the end I just like to know that people have enjoyed my work or if they didn't enjoy it.
I do not mind a little criticism.
Your project sounds like it was fun.
Did you have to show your game to the class.
I have been working on a few other projects with friends.
I have been working on a game system that has comprehensive experience that holds you accountable for your actions that you have taken as a character.
Your actions truly help to define your character and its advancements in the system.
I hope you are enjoying yourself and your games.
